I watched the video, got the battery, installed it with the provided tools, and whallah! All is good with my MBP! Initially I was concerned that the Apple Diagnostic (ADT) reports a problem with the battery at the start of the test (so no other tests are run). But it turns out the ADT is reporting a problem because it doesn't detect a ADT compatible sensor in the battery, and all non-OEM batteries have this. I easily work around it by removing the battery connector and plugging in the power supply and running the test. Thanks MacSales I would recommend this item to a friend!
